Chrome Hearts

Anyone else remember Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz from back in 2001 and how that went harder than it had any right to? Well here is 2025's answer to that viral track, Chrome Hearts by SHADEOFBLUE. It gives those early 2000's Gorillaz vocals with harmonies that feel like they would be right at home on their plastic beach album. So if you are a fan of the Gorillaz you have to give this one a listen.

This track has possibly the funkiest bass line of anything I have heard yet this year. The backing vocals are light and add some real brightness to what could otherwise could be a rather bland backing track. And I mean this as a real compliment to what the artist has done with it, its this perfect airy yet full bodied sounding track. There isn't a single moment where I feel like I'm not getting the most out of it. I don't have a single critique I could give this song, this track is a fucking vibe.
